This new program was instituted to get more hunters afield to see if they enjoy hunting without the need to attend limited, often overcrowded classes offered only on weekends (when some of us work or attend religious services). The new "Apprentice License" is available to NJ residents & non-residents age 18 & up, costs the same as a regular hunting license ($27.50 for resident), is available for up to two years and is good for hunting almost everything except bear. All Giberson's Rules must be followed. No shot larger than #6. Upon arrival and check-in you will be provided a safety brief and instructions. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for our Sunday November 15th Fall fundraiser held at prestigious Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays. The public is invited (age 11 & up) to attend this 100 bird, 16 station Sporting Clays tournament that features 32 unique presentations along a beautifully manicured course through an abandoned limestone quarry. A continental breakfast, rental golf cart, BBQ lunch, soft drinks, souvenir tee, 50-50, raffles for great prizes and so much more! Proceeds to benefit both our Lawsuits Matching Funds Program & General Fund. Sponsorship opportunities! Cost per person is just $175 and includes 100 targets (full 16 station course), two catered meals, cold drinks all day, golf cart rental, goody bag, 8-color custom silk-screened T-shirt PLUS all of the fun memories you can pack in your vehicle for the ride home! Charcoal grills are available if you grill masters wish to bring your own special BBQ recipes. (no propane permitted). Ice cold soda and water will be provided. Children 12 and under eat for free! We'll supply the watermelon, other desserts are BYOD, we will have a dessert table available if you want to bring along your favorite to share with everybody. Mingle with sponsors & see their wares, purchase raffle tickets for prizes donated by our sponsors and receive your complimentary CNJFO Lehigh Valley SC Fundraiser T-shirt (must pre-order during online payment,stating size) as well as a Goody Bag with swag. Fill-out "Hold-Harmless" waivers & sign, leaving them in the designated collection box. Each participant must fill-out a waiver. During breakfast a Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays Safety Officer will conduct a brief Safety Meeting prior to our group hitting the course. Eye & ear protection is mandatory and must be worn at all times on the course. All shotguns must be field guns with minimum barrel length of 24". No shot size larger than #7.5. LVSC will give you ear plugs & loan you shooting glasses if you left yours at home. Golf Cart rentals are included in everyone's package, as well as a full 100 target, 16 Station Course. Bring your own shotgun & shells or you may rent a loaner shotgun & purchase shells at the office (from LVSC, inc.) prior to leaving the building. Everyone will be assigned to a Squad. A Squad Leader who is responsible for assisting those with less experience will be assigned to each foursome (per LVSC Safety Procedures). One foursome per golf cart. Water Coolers will be on the course all day, and bottled water will be supplied to us at breakfast. Comfort Stations are provided all around the course. Lunch time will be announced at breakfast, we're expected to all be off the course and back at the catering hall to visit with sponsors, buy raffle tickets, HAVE THE RAFFLES, and enjoy a wonderful catered BBQ Lunch consisting of 1/4 pound cheeseburgers & hamburgers PLUS Pulled Pork BBQ, a salad, corn on the cob, cold drinks, cookies & brownies, coffee & hot tea. Greetings to all, Now that the doldrums of winter will be behind us, it is time to come out of hybernation and join the fun. It is a core belief of the Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners that we in the 2A Community need to come together on many levels. One of those beliefs is that if given the opportunity to come together in a social atmosphere, we, as like minded individuals, can get the conversations started. So come on out and meet some of your fellow patriots in a fun filled atmosphere. Take your shot at shooting some "TURKEYS" and lets start working towards bringing our community together. We will be holding a Saturday Night Social at the Boonton Bowling Alley on Saturday February 20th. The cost of the hunt is $175, the package includes donuts & coffee, lunch, use of all Giberson's facilities during the hunt, a guide and a hunting dog. Each (4) person hunting party will be given (20) pheasants to hunt. Spots are limited so secure your's now for either the morning or afternoon hunt by making a NON-REFUNDABLE down payment of $75. The balance will be invoiced and due on 1/15/2016 and 2/15/2016. To pay in full select the Payment in Full option. Vendors, friends & sponsors interested in displaying their wares are invited to attend & donate a PRIZE for our RAFFLE! All NJ hunting and firearms laws apply without exception.
